Why does UAV Production exist?
Program teams often encounter production advice that begins with a general capability list. UAV Production begins with a different question: what must the production system prove at the next program gate, and what configuration, sources, data handling, quality, inspection, test, traceability, and release evidence support that proof?
The site is intentionally narrow. It does not target startup prototypes, generic contract assembly, short-term overflow, industrial concept development, consumer products, or high-volume scale architecture. Its subject is the program-production basis for funded development, active capture, an awarded transition, LRIP, recurring delivery, or a defined ramp decision.
What is the method?
The method has four stages: unclassified fit, handling-path confirmation, production-readiness review, and a program-specific production plan. Each stage has an explicit decision and output. Sensitive information does not move merely because a commercial conversation has started.
Public resources explain the readiness dossier, award-to-LRIP transition, requirements-to-evidence map, secure-engagement boundary, and scope-accurate proof standard. These methods are visible without a lead submission so a buyer can evaluate the reasoning before requesting a review.
What is the publication standard?
No public customer, program, credential, facility, capacity, schedule, source, compliance, security, quality, price, or performance claim should appear without a current evidence record, exact scope, named owner, public-use approval, and review date. When evidence is unavailable, the site publishes a neutral method or template instead of an implied result.
Technical pages should be reviewed against current program and primary-source requirements before publication. The site does not replace contract interpretation, legal advice, export review, classification authority, security review, customer approval, or an accepting authority's decision.
What does UAV Production establish?
UAV Production publishes a domain-local manufacturing method and an email path for urgent component RFQs. Public copy does not establish facility fit, capacity, price, lead time, delivery, credentials, or contractual terms for a specific request.
